Instructional Designer & E-Learning Creator

As a member of the ECP Training Team, this person will have knowledge in the creation of SCORM compliant e-learning courses, from designing the learning to publishing the course for distribution to an LMS. They will work with various departments as stakeholders to create e-learning for their departments. Knowledge of software simulations is important.

Primary Functions:

  • Create, edit, and publish courses for our LMS.
  • Ensure company, visual communication, and brand standards are met.
  • Follows a cross-platform content strategy that communicates leadership vision and engages employees.
  • Provide editorial, creative, and technical support to team members.
  • Serve as a consultant editor for content to ensure quality, clarity, and consistency.
  • Collaborate with other departments to develop and produce new ideas.
  • Communicates clearly and effectively while working cross-departmentally to align training strategies and goals across the organization.

Skills, Qualifications and Education:

  • Minimum 1 to 2 years of learning and development, instructional design, and eLearning technologies experience; required.
  • Prior experience in eLearning development and course building experience using various authoring tools (e.g., Articulate 360, Storyline 360, Camtasia, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft PowerPoint, etc.); required.
  • Prior experience with learning management systems and various learning delivery modalities, such as self-paced learning, mobile learning, instructor-led learning, asynchronous and synchronous e-learning, and blended learning; required. 
  • Experience with instructional design project management tools and graphic design experience a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree Preferred
