Optometry Integration Specialist

Position Summary: 
The Optometry Integration Specialist drives the planning and execution of integrating new partner practices into EyeCare Partners.  This position will lead the communication and change management components of our integration playbook and coordinate the successful completion of the overall integration project across multiple functions. The Integration Specialist will manage a portfolio of simultaneous projects at various stages of the integration life cycle, ensuring that the goals of each integration are met on time, and that each new partner receives a world-class experience.

This role will report directly to the Director of Integrations and will be an integral member of the Integration Team and EyeCare Partners. This position offers the opportunity for a teammate with creativity, strong business acumen, and superior communication/relationship skills to make a significant and meaningful impact on multiple healthcare integrations at any given time.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Execute the IMO section of Eyecare Partners’ integration playbook
  • Visit practices as needed to provide transparency into the integration timeline and set clear expectations
  • Maintain regular, clear communication with multiple stakeholders, including new practice partners
  • Apply project management methodology to ensure successful, on-time completion for each integration
  • Provide status updates on integration progress, challenges, and risk mitigation plans
  • Own the resolution of issues for each project including determining, rationalizing, tracking and headlining issues that arise during the integration
  • Assist in building integration best practice techniques and supporting documentation for reuse
  • Identify new synergies and sources of value enhancement

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or comparable experience
  • 3+ years of progressive responsibility and knowledge in healthcare management or project management
  • Self-starter with critical thinking skills and the ability to streamline processes and passion to learn
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) skills, customer service and organizational skills
  • Excellent work habits, including a willingness to work the hours necessary to complete a task or project, especially when important deadlines cause greater than normal departmental pressures
  • Willingness and ability for overnight travel to new markets as EyeCare Partners expands
  • Problem solving and communicating clearly across the organization. Identify risks and eliminate them before integration timeline for partner satisfaction is impacted
  • Ability to quickly understand various nuances and unique characteristics of acquired companies and document the complexities of each integration
  • Build relationships at all levels stakeholders, including being comfortable interacting with executive-level management
  • Desire to work in fast paced, high performance team environment (private equity owned portfolio company), managing multiple complex integrations at the same time
  • Microsoft / G-Suite proficiency required.
