Integrations Specialist

Drive and participate in the planning, assessing and execution of the integration process for acquired companies by ECP.  The Integration specialist will manage a portfolio of simultaneous acquisitions ensure the goals of each integration are met on time, and a successful assimilation occurs.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Lead planning and implementation of complex integrations across multiple simultaneous integrations
  • Lead pre-close planning, and post-close execution, performance measurement, and reporting
  • Lead smaller integrations and supervise components of larger integrations
  • In partnership with the M&A team and functional specialists perform operational assessments and support due diligence
  • Provide direct hands-on operational, cross-functional support to help realize deal synergies
  • Identify new synergies and sources of value enhancement
  • Quantify and report on the success of integrations
  • Track success of initiatives against targets and recommend integration plan or project plan changes as needed
  • Effectively communicate with and influence key operational stakeholders while aligning the team around goals
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with other leaders to determine priorities, set goals, mitigate barriers to success.
  • Apply critical thinking & problem solving strategies to address challenges that arise during integrations.

Qualifications & Skills Needed


  • Bachelor Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Information Systems, or Accounting.
  • Masters Degree in Business Administration desired, but not required.
  • 3-5 years of experience and knowledge in business processes, system analysis, financial planning along with experience working mergers and acquisition
  • Self-starter with critical thinking skills and the ability to streamline processes and passion to learn and grow
  • Strong analytical (quantitative as well as qualitative) skills including building complex models 
  • Ability to analyze large sets of data and form conclusions which translate into action items which drive initiatives
  • Ability to quickly understand various nuances and unique characteristics of acquired companies to document and communicate the complexities of each integration
  • Effectively communicate and build relationships at all levels stakeholders, including being comfortable interacting with executive-level management
  • Desire to work in fast paced, high performance team environment (private equity owned portfolio company), managing multiple complex integrations at the same time
  • Knowledge of integration planning, execution, and process improvement
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and prioritization skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to communicate effectively, negotiate win/win outcomes, and influence others.
  • Strategic enterprise thinker with attention to detail that demonstrates responsiveness to inquiries and requests
  • Microsoft / G-Suite proficiency required.  Experience with databases and other analytical tools strongly desired.
