Jr. Project Management Analyst 

Position Summary:  Jr. Project Management Analyst responsibilities require independent judgment, initiative, and executive intuition in supporting the needs of the CIO and the IT Leadership Team. The position requires a high degree of flexibility and adaptability to balance the diverse needs of employees, management and the business. Prioritizing, scheduling, and implementing all tasks with a sense of urgency. Meeting timelines and deliverables are keys to success while maintaining a high level of confidentiality and ethics. The role will have potential to become IT project manager in the future.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate and assist IT Leadership in refreshing/updating technology strategy and roadmap
  • Build monthly executive leadership communication on progress on key strategic initiatives
  • Participate in department projects and initiatives. Assume the role of project coordinator as requested.
  • Coordinate all logistics (meeting material, venue, duration, participants) for large meetings such as town halls
  • Assist in building and tracking IT budgets for each department within IT
  • Create and distribute meeting materials for projects and specific meetings.
  • Format and edit meeting materials and presentations as requested.
  • Create organizational charts, workflows, and other MS Visio charts.
  • Help route agreements, contracts, and invoices through the signature process.
  • Coordinate with Recruiting & HR on candidate interviews, references, and temporary consultants.
  • Coordinate with IT for all technical issues. Coordinate with Facilities on staff moves, new hires, or general repairs.
  • Handle confidential and time-sensitive information.
  • Assists with other duties as directed by management.

Requirements:

  • Associate’s Degree in IS / IT or a related field
  • 3-5 years of experience working within a with project management, financial analysis, or executive assistant capacity. 
  • Previous experience supporting executive leadership teams across an enterprise environment
  • Proficiency with MS Office applications, as well as outstanding communication skills, organizational skills, interpersonal skills, and strong focus on providing excellent customer service.

Physical Requirements:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. Must be able to sit for an extended period of time.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment:

The job operates in a professional office environment.  The role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computer, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

Some flexibility in hours is allowed, but the employee must be available during the “core” work hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday – Friday.  Must work 40 hours each week to maintain full time status.
