Senior Director, Enterprise Applications (SAP S/4 HANA)

EyeCare Partners is seeking an innovative, passionate leader to lead a fantastic team focusing on evaluating, acquiring, implementing and enhancing SaaS applications for our share services group to enhance effectiveness and efficiency of shared services functions and improve user experience. Key stakeholders include business leads of Finance & Accounting, Supply Chain, Human Resources, Merchandising, Learning & Development, Revenue Cycle Management and Operations functions. 

The leader will be managing a blended resource team (employees, managed services vendors and on demand contractors). 

Key Accountabilities

  • Lead implementation, enhancement and ongoing support of large-scale SaaS implementation programs (e.g. SAP S/4 HANA ERP, HRIS, Procure-to-pay, Learning Management System, digital workflow management systems) including overall program planning, vendor management, requirement management, development, testing, implementation and post-rollout support & maintenance by collaborating with functional leaders
  • Lead the definition of vision, strategy and road maps for all shared service systems product lines
  • Deploy Agile framework of project delivery, application design, engineering & architecture within the area of responsibilities
  • Introduce innovative, differentiating platform "bolt-ons" and capabilities that enhance our overall competitiveness and employee productivity
  • Provide direction on what emerging technologies should be incorporated into our ERP platform to successfully deliver on the overall strategy
  • Provide strategic direction and oversight for the full life cycle of design, development, operation, and support of broader and associated IT systems.
  • Direct the development of an ERP platform sourcing strategy and provide executive oversight for strategic vendor and partner relationship management
  • Develops the maturity of the ERP CoE to improve efficiency, deliver innovations and increase service value (e.g., through Agile and DevOps)
  • Create and deploy Automated Test Strategy
  • Increase the functional and technical depth and capability of reporting teams through both coaching and development and recruitment of critical hires. Develop talent to ensure bench strength for key roles.
  • Engage, collaborate, and communicate effectively with variety of stakeholder to innovate, modernize, and deliver the services

The Ideal Candidate

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) field; Master’s degree preferred
  • 10+ years’ experience in information technology with experience leading SAP implementation/support teams
  • At least 5 years of leadership experience at director level over teams over 10
  • Experience managing a blended resource model that includes employees, managed services partners and on demand resources to deliver excellent customer service
