Project Manager/Sr. Project Manager

The Position

The Project Manager/Senior PM will work closely with the Executive team and collaborate with cross-functional key stakeholders across the organization, including Technology Development, Laboratory, Quality, Bioinformatics/Computational Biology, and Clinical Development. You will lead and participate in supporting clinical trials, laboratory operations, sample collection and other projects, maintaining timelines and schedules, and supporting cross functional activities.  Activities include supporting continuous improvement projects, deployment projects, laboratory studies to support testing and development projects. 

  • Lead operation deployment timelines in coordination with continuous improvement cross functional team;
  • Develop methods to track, monitor and report key operational metrics;
  • Monitor and maintain updates, meeting minutes, project status cross functionally;
  • Responsible for building and maintaining timelines/dashboards;
  • Responsible for communicating and updating team on project status and timelines;
  • Work with stakeholders to schedule activities, track progress and identify any risks/delays;
  • Provide a weekly project status update;
  • Set up cross-functional meetings for review and approval of project activities;
  • Support logistics tasks and coordination of activities; and
  • Serve as point of contact between operations and relevant stakeholders/teams.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a business or technical discipline.
  • Experience working in operations or similar position.
  • Previous experience in project management or cross functional teams preferred.
  • Experience leading development efforts to meet regulated market standards (e.g., FDA or CE-mark) preferred
  • Certification or formal training in Program Management and experience using resource management tools
  • Previous clinical laboratory work or molecular biology techniques preferred.
  • Experience working with project management tools.
  • Ability to proactively communicate consistently, clearly, and honestly with internal employees and managers as needed.
  • Experience leading team meetings and gathering information in an organized manner.
  • Able to integrate and apply feedback in a professional manner.
  • Good communication and project management skills, appropriate for both leadership and individual contributor roles.
  • Enjoy working independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and able to adapt to change.
  • Experience in using such tools as Smartsheets, Confluence and Microsoft Office.
