Position Summary:
The Project Manager, Data will be responsible for the implementation and maintenance of informatics products. We are searching for a driven, enthusiastic and self-motivated individual who is comfortable multitasking and working independently on various aspects of the platform. This individual will join a dynamic, rapidly growing, and highly collaborative team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leverage agile and/or SDLC methodologies to efficiently and transparently drive workflows.
- Partner with internal teams and external vendors to manage configuration changes, including driving the change management, user acceptance testing, and implementation steps.
- Design and maintain data dictionaries / vocabularies, templates, and data categories.
- Monitor data quality and resolve data quality issues.
- Collaborate with leaders to build data standards around scientific research metadata and ontologies.
- Drive the application of FAIR principles.
Basic Qualifications:
- BS, MS, or PhD in molecular biology, bioinformatics, computational biology or related field with 8 years of industry experience is required
- Demonstrated experience in data management for life sciences companies
- Experience with ELN and LIMS systems, preferably Benchling
- Familiarity with data repository technologies
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in research informatics, supporting at least one of the core drug discovery scientific disciplines (chemistry, biology, and/or clinical)
- Agile, Scrum, or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
- Benchling experience
