Position Summary:

The Senior Research Associate will be responsible for development and execution of ELISAs to support all modalities. We are searching for a driven, enthusiastic and self-motivated individual who is comfortable multitasking and working independently on various aspects of the platform. This individual will join a dynamic, rapidly growing, and highly collaborative team.

Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will work both independently and as part of a collaborative team to:

  • Develop, optimize, qualify, validate, and troubleshoot analytical methods as required
  • Focus on protein binding assays such as ELISAs to support product and process development across modalities for IND-enabling studies
  • Contribute to an ELISA center of excellence with experience in various binding assays, instrumentation, and software while
  • Organize and maintain laboratory space, inventory, and supplies
  • Design, preform and document assays in a repeatable and efficient manner
  • Write and review methods and documentation including protocols, SOPs, reporting of testing, analytical method development and qualification studies.
  • Communicate effectively with team members
  • Develop and qualify controls/standards, and perform regular data trending
  • Collaborate with Process Development to enhance product and process understanding using fit-for-purpose, stage-appropriate analytical assay development
  • Mentor junior analysts to ensure timely completion of assignments with full data integrity.

Basic Qualifications:

  • BS/MS with 6-8 years of industry experience
  • Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and detail-oriented with a positive and innovative attitude  
  • Strong organizational, communicative, and analytical skillsetwith previous independent analytical development experience
  • Extensive industry experience with ELISA required with biochemistry/protein chemistry knowledge preferred
  • Ability to use Excel and working knowledge and understanding of statistical data analysis is required
  • Proficient experience in associated analytical techniques such as Western Blotting, HPLC, flow cytometry, and cell-based assays is a preferred
  • Good leadership skills, strong desire to both learn and mentor, and ability to contribute at a high level
