LARONDE is a dynamic, entrepreneurial and innovation-driven organization seeking to hire an exceptional research associate to join our eRNA research team.

Position Summary:

We are looking for a Research Associate or Senior Research Associate who brings enthusiasm, scientific rigor and a desire to innovate new eRNA medicines for patients. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Perform in vitro, ex vivo and in vivo studies to investigate the effects of eRNA on protein expression, cellular readouts and function in cells and preclinical animal models.
  • Conduct cutting-edge eRNA research and apply to therapeutic applications.
  • Conduct experiments using state-of-the-art molecular and cell biology techniques and establish and culture mammalian cell lines.
  • Critical data analysis skills, attention to details and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Maintain detailed records of experimental protocols and data in electronic laboratory notebook in accordance with company policy.
  • Effectively collaborate with a fully integrated research team to facilitate the success of projects.
  • Excellent organizational skills and documentation practices.
  • Additional duties and responsibilities as required.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in biochemistry, molecular, cellular and in vivo biology, or related discipline
  • We are flexible on level/ title 0-7 years experience ideal
  • Experience with molecular biology techniques- PCR, gel analysis, RNA transcription etc..
  • Experience with mammalian cell culture
  • Experience with biochemical techniques e.g. ELISA, binding assays

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with DNA and RNA
  • Ability to think critically and creatively as part of a fast-paced research team, while being highly independent and self-motivated
  • Experience running in vivo studies
