Job Description

We are looking for a creative and highly motivated bench scientist to join our team. The ideal candidate has a good understanding of cell biology and immunology and has considerable hands-on experience with development and troubleshooting of in vitro functional assays. The successful candidate will be working in a team environment to drive the discovery of transformative medicines

Responsibilities

  • Leverage knowledge of cell biology and immunology to support target identification
  • Design and execute cell-based assays to validate the mechanism of action hypotheses
  • Contribute to high-throughput functional genomics experiments
  • Interaction with and management of CRO work to expand and diversify internal capabilities
  • Collect and interpret data and present to small and medium-sized groups

Qualifications

  • MS in immunology, oncology, cell biology or related field with 3 years of relevant research experience or BS with 7 years of relevant research experience or PhD with 0-2 years of experience
  • Proficiency with in vitro cell assay development and different readout technologies (e.g. FACS, ELISA, qPCR)
  • Proficiency with cell engineering via viral or CRISPR-based methods
  • Strong experimental design, troubleshooting, and data analysis skills
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, including documentation in a laboratory notebook
  • Position title and compensation will be determined by years of relevant experience
