The Customs team is focused on building automation through technology and ensuring that clients stay compliant - from strategy to execution. What you’ll do:

  • Manage a Global Customs Team of five to ten brokers.
  • Educate and monitor US import/export regulatory requirements to team members concerning the rules and regulations of the 19CFR.
  • Work as the bridge between clients, US Customs and Border Protection (CBP), and Participating Government Agencies (PGA’s).
  • Partner across adjacent teams, including freight operations and Sales to coordinate any required client integrations during onboarding.
  • Design, audit and continuously improve SOPs.
  • Identify and collaborate with internal stakeholders in the development of key operational efficiencies through automation.
  • Own all aspects of managing and growing the Customs Brokerage organization in terms of day to day operations, account growth, and workload balancing.

You should have:

  • U.S. Customs broker license
  • BS/BA Degree and approximately 4 or more years of related work experience in the industry.
  • Experience leading a team to success. 
  • The ability to recommend and drive decisions while ensuring compliance with customs regulations, rules, and policies.
  • Excellent information seeking skills and drive to make things happen.
  • The ability to understand challenges or underlying concerns, share ideas, and develop effective responses.
