Job Title: Recruiter

You will have experience recruiting for cross functional roles  (Product, Sales, G&A etc.). You are a builder who thrives in a learning environment—unafraid to try new things, embrace new ideas, and welcome suggestions for how we can iterate on our processes.

You will be a strategic talent advisor to our hiring teams, coming to the table with an informed point-of view on the talent pool, interview best practices, assessment criteria and competitive market. 

Responsibilities:

  • Be a Genome Medical ambassador, providing all candidates an exceptional and memorable experience at every touchpoint in the hiring process
  • Be a trusted business partner for our hiring teams -- understand their needs and in partnership, translate those needs into a structured hiring process
  • Manage full cycle recruiting from role development to candidate outreach and screening to offer recommendations for multiple, complex searches, creating innovative sourcing strategies and engagement to bring the best talent to each role
  • Develop and execute fully comprehensive sourcing plans, analyzing requirements to determine target profile needs and matches
  • Build strong candidate pipelines to achieve the desirable passthrough rate and maintain data integrity, and proactively share data-centric updates with internal stakeholders
  • Facilitate and/or lead key initiatives and projects with internal partners, and with the people team, that will continuously improve and scale our recruiting operations and results
  • Lead interview alignment meetings and debrief processes to help drive decision making
  • Communicate in a timely and friendly manner on all interview logistics and updates to interviewers and candidates
  • Demonstrates data integrity and ability to understand data to form recommendations

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of recruiting experience in a matrix organization with elite standards for talent
  • Track record for successfully identifying, qualifying, and closing exceptional technical candidates
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and communicate effectively
  • Hyper-organized with a keen attention to detail; you have a knack for juggling multiple tasks without breaking a sweat
  • Customer centric focused; you put the candidate and our employee needs first and effectively communicate and collaborate at all levels of the organization
  • Think on your feet; you can effectively problem solve in the moment when things go awry
  • Experience working with modern technologies for work, including G-suite products
  • Experience with candidate care and balancing process with candidate experience
  • Knowledge with recruiting tools, applicant tracking systems, data management/reporting techniques and software collaboration tools
  • Passion and understanding of Genome Medical’s vision, mission and values
  • Experience recruiting for healthtech start-up and/or genomics companies is a strong plus
