Your work-life opportunity:

Glovo's Italy Growth team is looking for a world-class Business Analyst. Do you rather read numbers than books? Are you looking for a challenging experience in one of the fastest growing Startups in Europe? Do you want to contribute building a product that will disrupt the On demand market?

Be a part of a team where you will:

  • Acquire deep knowledge of growth KPIs across the marketing funnel (downloads, sign-ups, new customers, existing customers, AMORU), what are the key drivers of these and when/ how to pull such levers to drive orders
  • Run insightful ad-hoc analysis helping the Marketing Manager to craft the country marketing strategy & identify new growth opportunities: For example, evaluate what is behind discrepancy between downloads vs.  sign-ups; assess what city, partners are driving acquisition; identify impact of promotions on user retention
  • Develop existing forecast model to set business targets across the growth funnel and establish KPIs reporting (actuals vs. targets) on a weekly/ monthly basis
  • Lead recurring business reviews to monitor health of the business including assessment of the competitive landscape and its impact on Glovo’s market performance
  • Analyse how team’s activations drive growth by identifying what has worked, what has not worked and providing actionable insights to help the Marketing Manager improving future activations
  • Support Growth team & Global teams (e.g. Media, Business intelligence, Digital Marketing) with ad-hoc analysis on specific marketing levers such as ATL media (TV, OLV), promo, pricing, CRM

You have:

  • Up to 3 years of work experience in Growth/ Analytical roles in top FMCG companies and/ or Tech companies 
  • Able to understand the business question, turn that into analysis and provide actionable insights
  • Comfortable in tracking/ reporting on KPIs
  • Communication clarity
  • Strong consumer understanding skills
  • Ninja expertise with Excel - Google Sheets is a must
  • Advanced knowledge of SQL
  • Strong business acumen and passion for end-to-end project management 
  • Hands-on attitude is a must. You’ll have to roll up your sleeves! 
  • Proficiency in English and Italian
  • Quantitative degrees or Business Administration / Marketing Studies in top University

Nice-to-haves:

  • Knowledge of tools like Looker 
  • Previous experience in programming
  • Proficiency in Python, Tableau
