Glovo is building the future of cities by enabling anyone to get any product from any store in their city delivered in minutes. Our goal is to provide on-demand delivery infrastructure for every city in the world. The Live Operations teams at Glovo is the main point of contact for all the actors of our marketplace: Customers, Couriers & Partners (Stores). This team is the one making the magic happen when any of these actors get in touch with Glovo. Making sure we can provide the best answers to their needs. 
 
As the Business Product Manager, you will be responsible for (i) defining what are the mains product needs (features, automation..) to improve Glovo’s Live Operations ; (ii) Overviewing the implementation of all new product releases, making sure they meet the team’s expectations and that our agents are prepared for the Go Live. By leading an amazing team of Associate BPMs you’ll collaborate with product, engineering, design, and all the operations stakeholders to deliver products that scale over millions of orders across Europe, Latin America, Africa and Asia.
 
Examples include - request to improve agent experience around the world, automating some contact reasons such as when the customer is absent, rolling out new features that need new ways of working of customer support,  re-thinking the format in which partners (stores) can contact support. 
 
Your work will directly impact our support agents and operations teams around the world. Your main goal is to improve customer support through technology.  

Be a part of a team where you will:

  • Be the Customer Service point of contact for Product department
  • Be the Customer “advocate” in all Product developments
  • Define and communicate product requirements and specifications by thinking creatively about which are the problems that we need product involvement to be solved. 
  • Gather and define business requirements and build product requests. Analyze the impact of different product requests to help their prioritization with the product teams. 
  • Ensure strong collaboration and communication across the company and serve as a primary point of contact for internal stakeholders
  • Follow-up product developments to ensure they meet business requirements
  • Review and align Product Initiation Documents, which are the documents defining what will be built and how.
  • Coordinate the deployment of new product functionalities with departments across Glovo
  • Actively collaborate with your colleagues and learn from each other in a supportive environment that allows you to grow, develop and make a difference

You have:

  • Preferably a degree in Administration, Economics, Information Technology, Engineering or equivalent  (Master's Degree would be advantageous) -> this is not a marketing position. 
  • +4 years of experience in defining business requirements for technology projects; project management and delivering projects
  • Analytical mindset and great data analysis skills. You understand how to ask the right questions and deduce insights from both quantitative and qualitative data. A/B experimentation and data-driven decision making are natural to you.
  • Great autonomy, in order to take a problem and be able to define them and prioritize them. 
  • Team Player - you can motivate your teammates to raise the main problems. You’re great at making tough decisions in a sea of ambiguity and keeping everyone on track. You have the passion and you are ready to learn and take on ambitious features.
  • Superb communication—you have excellent written and verbal communication skills. You make complex ideas understandable, and craft specs that are easy for multiple audiences to consume (presentations are your thing). 
  • Ease in learn fast and adapt yourself to different business situations. Problem solver and results-driven, with a can-do attitude. You have the ability to work independently and have outstanding stakeholder management skills. 
  • Advanced level in English (written and spoken) preferably native, Spanish is a bonus
  • An empathetic, inclusive and curious attitude

  • Experience in startups or technological platforms
  • Understanding of Customer Support on food delivery companies
  • Background in technological consultancy firms as functional/business analyst 
  • Familiarity with AB Testing frameworks
  • Experience in international environments
