We are looking for a passionate, strategic and action-oriented professional to join our Corporate Development team at our Headquarters in Barcelona.

As a Corporate Development Analyst, you will work with the team on all fundraising, finance and M&A related workstreams, providing both strategic thinking and analytical skills. It is a fast-paced and varied role where no two days are ever the same - from preparing presentations and marketing materials to pitch investors to analyse potential M&A opportunities across a variety of geographies and sectors.

Be a part of a team where you will:

  • Support on all aspects of our equity fundraising rounds and other debt-like instruments, from preparation of decks and introductory materials to business plan, valuation, term sheet and Due Diligence management
  • Be an insightful source for market research and intel for the rest of the Organization by performing in-depth analysis on competitors and sector trends
  • Prepare ad hoc reports for the Management team, Board of Directors, investor relations and other team presentations
  • Work on M&A and Partnership opportunities, from sourcing of deals to mapping and analysing opportunities across all our geographies and different business verticals (Food, Groceries, etc.)
  • Assist with any Due Diligence on potential investments and support with the preparation of investment committee memos and presentations

You have:

  • 1+ year of experience in M&A, PE or VC
  • Degree in Business, Finance or Economics or advanced accounting and finance knowledge
  • Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills. Knowledge of SQL will be highly valued
  • Amazing attention to detail, itchy feet and continuous thrive on learning through different projects
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills
  • Fluent English. Other languages will be an advantage
