YOUR WORK-LIFE OPPORTUNITY:

As part of the HQ Category Management team, you will be responsible for creating, testing and implementing new pricing strategies for our MFCs. This is a new position in the team and it comes with a complex equation to solve: to use data to define the MFCs ideal pricing strategy, balancing attractiveness and profitability in a channel in which the rules of the pricing game are not defined yet.

You will help to create the process needed to evolve from a basic margin-driven approach to a dynamic pricing strategy. This includes evaluating web-scraping solutions, integrating it with our data, building tools for local teams, and constantly improving the model to define prices. You will also be in contact with the central team members of Delivery Hero to evaluate their solutions and adapt them to Glovo’s needs if necessary.

YOU WILL:

  • Define the product pricing strategy for MFC’s
  • Build tools to facilitate the definition and implementation of prices
  • Engage with local teams to improve and adapt the strategy and tools
  • Support the local teams in the implementation the pricing strategy
  • Test, evaluate and improve the pricing strategy
  • Evaluate solutions to tackle technical blockers
  • Understand global business needs and create insightful analysis to internal teams to make the right decision
  • Act as an internal consultant to translate business questions into insights
  • Work with teams such: Data Analytics, Growth, local Catman teams, and Delivery Hero pricing team. 

IF YOU HAVE:

  • Expertise with SQL
  • Solid proficiency in Python and experience working with analysis tools such as Pandas, SciPy, Scikit, Jupyter/iPython notebooks, R
  • +3 years of work experience providing internal teams with the necessary data to make the right decisions
  • Experience finding and tearing down data to establish a sustainable business strategy
  • Knowledge of visualization tools like Looker, Tableau, QlikView, etc..
  • Previous experience in programming is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field
  • Proficiency in English is a must
