Glovo eLogistics will be present in 23 countries by EOY, exposed to an e-commerce revenue of €83bn.

In this role you will be part of the global eLogistics group team at Glovo, which is the team at Glovo that develops the last-mile logistics service for e-commerce, a huge industry that is still growing rapidly with many challenges ahead.
You will join a team that is working to revolutionize the industry from scratch with the main e-commerce players in any market (e.g. Alibaba, Apple,...). 

The Data, Automation and Experimentation team is a team that owns the data insights and reporting, and focuses on finding opportunities to improve, automate and experiment new business and technical processes. You'll be building impactful products and MVPs working with different teams (Tech, Operations, Logistics, CX,...) and in different markets.

Be a part of a team where you will:

  • Lead the Data, Automation and Experimentation team, being the manager of all the analysts of the team
  • Be part one of the product leaders of the eLogistics group
  • Work closely with the eLogistics Business teams and Data Scientists in a diverse and talented team
  • Be very close to the tech team, building common projects and products
  • Define the roadmap and strategy of the Data and projects for the eLogistics groups
  • Build MVPs and automate complex processes
  • Provide analytical insights to the the senior managers of operations, finance, sales and strategy
  • Be on top of any new implementation that is developed so as to track its impact and validate the success of the new feature.
  • Own all dashboards and build new tools to improve the visibility of metrics in the department
  • Give life to your craziest ideas and have an immediate impact
  • Analyze in detail all the cities that we operate in (+400 cities, +20 countries) so as to extract local peculiarities that the system should consider

 

You have:

  • Degree in Engineering, Statistics, Computer Science is preferred but not mandatory
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in business analytics, data, tech, product management or similar
  • You have a technical profile with excellent SQL and Python skills
  • Ability to translate business challenges into actions and products
  • Ability to lead a team and ensure high performance
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proactive and organized, with the ability to prioritize and define long-term planning
  • Superb communication—you have excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent spoken and written English

Nice-to-have:

  • Experience in managing data teams (Data Lead, Data Product Manager, Data Manager,...)
  • Experience in building APIs
  • Worked before with AWS or Jenkins environment
  • Experience in database management
