Your work-life opportunity:

We are looking for someone to take responsibility for structuring Glovo’s corporate communications and PR strategy around the globe. The successful candidate will join our Public Affairs team to define and lead our corporate comms strategy worldwide and support regional and local teams in its implementation. Be a part of a team where you will:

  • Strategic design of Glovo’s PR & corporate communications global plan. 
  • Lead the implementation: provide tools and support to local teams, from strategy to action. 
  • Coordinate with local teams on proactive and reactive media events - PR, media opportunities, speaking ops, crisis management.
  • Ensure coherence of messages and actions in all Glovo media relations.
  • Create and maintain a fluent relationship with journalists interested in Glovo and the tech sector.
  • Work across Glovo with different teams to provide communicative visibility to their strategies and needs.
  • Coordinate with the policy team to reinforce the regulatory and public opinion strategy.
  • Ensure Glovo’s communications are aligned with the company’s purpose, vision and mission.
  • Guide the Comms dimension of Glovo’s growth asan EU tech leader. 
  • Crisis management

You Have:

  • At least 8+ years experience working in public relations, corporate communications, strategic media relations and issues management.  
  • Strong track record of PR/comms activity, leading significant global campaigns gained within both B2B and B2C environment, ideally with startups or in the technology sector.
  • Extensive experience in crisis communications and issues management.
  • Create, plan and execute a dynamic global PR strategy, addressing the needs of the overall business in each region.
  • Experience defining a company’s narrative and able to develop specific media strategies for activations to maximise impact and coverage across multiple channels.
  • Strategic experience of company relations beyond pure media and  PR channels.
  • Outstanding social and interpersonal communications skills. 
  • Comfortable defining and working to key PR metrics.
  • Ability to understand the business and its challenges.
  • Ability to adapt to a changing and dynamic environment.
  • Understanding of the social, economic and political context and who is who in those areas affecting the public agenda of Glovo.
  • Rigorous in organization and planning.
  • Proven record of good coordination skills with teams composed of different profiles.
  • A natural inclination for social relations, involving internal and external stakeholders. 
  • Fluency in English.
  • Basic knowledge of Spanish is a plus.
  • Team Player.
  • Driven but at the same time humble.
