Glovo is building the future of cities by enabling anyone to get any product from any store in their city delivered in minutes. Our goal is to provide on-demand delivery infrastructure for every city in the world.

The eLogistics team is Glovo’s last-mile logistics service for e-commerce, a huge industry that is still growing rapidly with many challenges ahead. At Glovo, you will join a team that is working to revolutionize the industry from scratch with the main e-commerce players in any market (e.g. AliExpress, Decathlon, Wish, etc).

In this role, you will be responsible to lead operational quality globally, including warehouse, fleet and customer service management.

You will be working closely with the eLogistics Global General Manager, the global leadership team and the country’s Heads of eLogistics.

Be a part of a team where you will:

  • Ensure very  high quality levels for our logistics operations, meaning you will act as the “police” inside our eLogistics team.
  • Audit, define, test and refine the most relevant business processes to be sure ALL parcels are taken care of.
  • Bring the levels of defect rates to nearly non-existent levels.
  • Build processes that are so robust that NO parcel is left without notice or without being measured.
  • Track all unhappy flows and build robust flawless processes and tech solutions.
  • Coordinate with different stakeholders in warehouse ops, supply ops,  customer service and product.
  • Leverage data, together with the central analytics team, to drive continuous improvement across different areas and draw conclusions from a variety of sources.
  • Create a roadmap for tools and product development focusing both on preventive and corrective measures.
  • Design solutions that are modular and can be replicated in all countries where Glovo is operating.
  • Define change requirements and drive process change using staff interviews, document analysis, workshops, surveys, site visits, process and workflow analysis.
  • Report and communicate advancements on the key quality metrics to the global team.
  • Build a culture of excellence and training. Build ways to ensure all learnings from different countries and teams are shared across the organization.
  • Contribute to the strategic decisions: product development, expansion, etc.
  • Actively collaborate with your colleagues and learn from each other in a supportive environment that allows you to grow, develop and make a difference

You have:

  • 5+ years of experience in driving process improvement and operational excellence in industries with high quality standards (e.g. car manufacturing, civil engineering, etc) and not being afraid to get your hands dirty.
  • 3+ years  of experience in managerial and decision-making roles.
  • Six Sigma/Lean/Operations or quality audit experience.
  • “Eagle eye” attention to detail. You are motivated by being sure that processes are so robust that they simply don’t fail.
  • Strong analytical, technical project management and interpersonal skills with a clear customer focus.
  • Demonstrated ability to think creatively, deal with ambiguity, and manage changing priorities.
  • Successful management of cross-functional teams to perform process analysis, improvement and implementation.
  • Familiar with the design of SOPs, work instructions and training.
  • Fluent in English, other languages are a plus.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and advanced in MS Excel.
  • Familiar with software programs such as MS Project, Flowchart software…
