In the context of “giving users easy access to anything in their city”, Q-commerce is the business unit that covers 3 verticals: Groceries, Retail and Darkstores (our own fulfillment channel). We aim to provide immediacy to all product needs that a user might have, from delivering a video game, to sending a gift... to filling up their fridge.

The Q-commerce team is organized in 6 sub-teams: Analytics, Darkstore Operations & Launch, Delivery operations, Front-end (Marketing, Sales, Account Mgmt. and Category Management), Finance and Retail.

We are actively looking for our future Finance Director, directly working with the Q-commerce General Manager as his right-hand in any strategic and finance topic.

Be a part of a team where you will:

  • Support and review country and department targets for the Q-commerce Business Unit
  • Support cross functional projects to improve profitability
  • Supervise the Finance compliance across regions for the Q-commerce Business Unit
  • Implement and monitoring financial policies
  • Supervise local teams and Report to HQ on the financial and accounting statements for the Q-commerce Business Unit
  • Coordinate the preparation of Financial Statements for Q-commerce Business Unit
  • Lead the relationship with third parties: external auditors, administrations, external consultants,
  • Optimize the fiscal policy of the Q-commerce Business Unit
  • Lead and coordinate project optimization processes in invoicing, accountancy
  • Study the viability - reports of investments/projects, strategic reorientation, etc
  • Create Ad hoc analysis to provide the different managers with information for decision making
  • Prepare analysis and justifications of real data, forecasts, and deviations
  • Supervise monthly, quarterly and annual finance and accounting reports and analysis (P&L and BS) and prepare analysis on profit contribution

You have:

  • Minimum of 7-8  years of experience relevant to the level of the role and the responsibilities
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel
  • Degree in Business or Economics
  • Fluency in English
  • Analytical profile and goal-oriented mindset
  • Advanced accounting and finance knowledge
  • SQL skills as a plus
