Your work-life opportunity:

In the context of “giving users easy access to anything in their city”, Q-commerce is the business unit that covers 3 verticals: Groceries with Partners, Groceries with our own Micro Fulfillment Centers (MFCs) and Retail. We aim to provide immediacy to all product needs that a user might have, from delivering a video game, to sending a gift... to filling up their fridge.

The Q-commerce team is organized in 5 sub-teams: Front-end (Growth, Sales, Category Management, Partner Ops and Partners’ Performance Management), Analytics, MFCs Operations & Expansion, Retail and Finance

As part of the Global Category Management team, the Q-Commerce Merchandising Lead is a new position in our structure: as we expand our Q-Commerce business, we need to ensure our users are having the optimal UX by improving navigation, search, product display etc.

Be a part of a team where you will:
  • Own the Groceries Merchandising process with a look both at the UX and Business Activation, using data to gather insights and measure the impact of implemented actions.
  • UX:
    • Develop a deep understanding of current performance and available opportunities;
    • Identify and implement short-term improvements (PDP, categorization etc)
    • Analyze current site performance and influence the tech roadmap of improvements according to impact on conversion rate, GMV and UX metrics (App and Web)
    • Fully own implementation of improvements, end to end across team unlocking resources and making Site priorities visible and top of mind
  • Business Activation: 
    • Understanding of the impact of current activation tools (promotions, packs creations, special collections) in our key metrics and guiding the countries in how to use them, balancing growth and profitability;
    • Identifying opportunities and defining guidelines to  implementing an Activation Calendar both for Partners and Glovo Express;

You have:

  • 5+ years of experience in e-commerce: FMCG, market place or retailer.
  • Analytical mindset to approach problems and pragmatic approach to problem resolution. 
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to influence teams that will bring the impact you identify.
  • Experience building KPIs and processes from scratch.
  • Interest in start-ups, technology, and a fast-paced environment.
  • Proactive, organized, and obsessed with details.
  • Experience in a start-up or building your own business is a plus.
