Your work-life opportunity:
We are looking for an experienced Head of Accounting, to review all accounting activity for different companies and partner with the business to ensure that the requirements are being met whilst at the same time ensuring that Glovo meets all its internal and external reporting and control requirements.
Be a part of a team where you will:

Manage the month- and quarter-end closings, along with reporting to HQ

Work closely with internal and external partners
-
Complete assigned accounting activities to support the monthly, quarterly and annual close processes

Ensure our accounting processes are further optimized and automated to make all financial processes ready to scale with the business

Create ad-hoc analyses, statistics, evaluations, reports will also form part of your mission

Support the timely reporting of key financial information
-
Manage and support the Spain Accounting team, processes and activities (reliable, effective, efficient)

Ensure compliance with local and IFRS GAAP, where applicable
-
Operate within a robust and internal control environment

Actively collaborate with your colleagues and learn from each other in a supportive environment that allows you to grow, develop and make a difference
You have:
-
At least 3-4 years of experience in a similar position
-
Degree in Finance, Accounting or equivalent
-
Good communication skills
-
Fluency in English (written and spoken)
-
Analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to learn and apply technologies to address challenges
-
Solid accounting background, proficiency in Plan General Contable and IFRS
-
Experience with ERP
-
