Your work-life opportunity:

Glovo's Bulgaria Growth & Marketing team is looking for a Local Marketing Manager to lead promotions and co-branded projects with Glovo’s main partners - food and grocery chains and other non food brands and to build and execute all local activations for growing Glovo in the market. We are piloting a rocket to the moon and we need the best crew.

Be a part of a team where you will:

  • Plan and execute the promotional strategy and the local activations of Glovo in Bulgaria with full ownership of promotional budget, promotions calendar and promotional KPIs
  • Plan and execute the secondary city growth strategy and tactical initiatives
  • Analyse the impact of the promotional activities in growing Glovo business in the above two markets through customers acquisition, customer retention and increase in purchasing frequency and make relevant recommendations based on the insights
  • Will work closely with regional and global teams to define the promo strategy, goals and budgets and with local commercial teams to define the promo calendar and execute the promotional campaigns
  • Will work closely with Glovo top local partners (food and grocery chains)
  • Will work closely with Glovo regional design, performance and CRM teams and media manager to create and/or localise and launch all materials for the promotion communication campaign ( performance, social media, OOH, TV, CRM) and other local activations
  • Acquire deep knowledge of growth KPIs across the marketing funnel (downloads, sign-ups, new customers, existing customers, frequency), what are the key drivers for their evolution and when/ how to pull promotional levers to drive growth
  • Analyse how your actions drive growth by identifying what has worked, what has not worked and providing actionable insights to improve future activations

You have:

  • 3-5 years experience in a Trade Marketing Role or a Marketing Manager Role, as well as experience working within global - regional & local structures
  • Strong project management abilities
  • FMCG experience is a plus
  • Strong consumer understanding skills
  • Highly analytical and comfortable dealing with high growth and complex business challenges
  • Comfortable in tracking/ reporting on established marketing KPIs and turning insights into actions
  • Familiarity with paid, owned and earned media channels (online, offline)
  • Knowledge of visualization tools like Tableau, Looker or Qlikview is a plus
  • Proficient in English is a must
  • Hands-on attitude is a must. You’ll have to roll up your sleeves
