The PR and Communications team is a vital part of the Glovo business. The team’s core objective is to communicate the positive impact Glovo is having on our users and couriers and to more than 115,000 local stores and restaurants, we are privileged to call our partners, by pursuing our vision – to give everyone easy access to anything in their city. 

We are looking for an ambitious and experienced Global PR & Corporate Communications Manager to create and implement our corporate communications strategies. You have a stellar knowledge of the international media landscape, and will know how to adapt corporate stories to local media.

Be a part of a team where you will:

  • Support Global PR & Communications Director in creating strategies and media engagement.
  • Lead Glovo’s global corporate communications PR programs and establish a regular cadence of media coverage in international media. 
  • Prepare press releases, articles, Q&As, talk tracks w/key focus on all international media outlets.
  • Research and write briefing materials, draft statements and media comments on behalf of company spokespeople. 
  • Coordinate content for all corporate communications. 
  • Ensure the company protects and promotes its image in a proper, coordinated, and consistent manner.
  • Provide PR advice to other departments (PA, Social Impact, etc). 
  • Develop media strategies in line with the company narrative and key messages. 
  • Conduct media training and create media profiles for executives.
  • Manage and coordinate all C-Suite speaking engagements and press events.
  • Proactively work to protect Glovo’s reputation in issues management. 
  • Maintain and develop relationships with key media and manage an international press office including staffing interviews, developing. background bios, briefing executive spokespeople, and tracking for the coverage.
  • Stay proactive in newsjacking when the opportunity arises.
  • Develop programs that are scalable across markets. 
  • Support local PR managers in driving corporate storytelling. 
  • Manage monthly measurement and analytics.
  • Actively collaborate with your colleagues and learn from each other in a supportive environment that allows you to grow, develop and make a difference

You have:

  • 5+ years of Public Relations and Corporate Communications experience – in house or agency (managing corporate PR leg), liaising with media directly
  • Strong international and national (UK) media contacts and extensive experience in dealing with high-level industry media contacts across news and broadcast sectors
  • Outstanding project management skills
  • Experience in managing crisis communications process
  • Flawless written and verbal English
  • Experience in a fast-paced environment
  • A self-starter attitude with tenacity for execution and delivery.
