Your work-life opportunity:
As a Senior Data Manager you will be responsible for envisioning, leading and building the data technology that defines industry best practices in collaboration with other tech Data Managers in our complex multi-user facing platform. You’ll collaborate with product, engineering and stakeholders throughout the organization to deliver products that can be analysed and optimised. We’re looking for someone with the same passion that we have for rock solid data and a fast turn around on analysis so that we can keep iterating and improving.
Be a part of a team where you will:

Recruit, coach and manage an all-star team of Product Analysts, BI Engineers and Data Scientists

Manage processes to help the team do its best work and interface effectively with Central BI, data engineering and business stakeholders

Support the definition and measurement of success metrics

Apply statistical methods, causal inference, and machine learning to inform product decisions and to design experiments to evaluate hypotheses

Be ready and prepared to get hands-on and lead by example

Ship fast and often
You have:
-
3+ years of managerial experience end-to-end data solutions
-
2+ years hands-on experience with data streaming (Spark/Kafka/Kinesis) technologies
-
Knowledge of the application of statistical models and machine learning
-
Leadership—you can motivate your teammates to achieve great ambitions with high quality standards
-
Superb communication—you can convey an engaging story when communicating learnings and vision to managers and executives
-
Excellent spoken and written English
