We are looking for talented and passionate engineers to join the Data & ML Engineering Cluster.
 
Glovo has a culture of data-driven decision-making, and demands data that is timely, accurate, and actionable. We’re growing really fast, collecting Terabytes of data from tens of data sources and providing interfaces for our internal customers to access and query the data hundreds of thousands of times per day.
 
As an engineer in our Developer Experience Team you will be focused on building and constantly improving the Developer Journey for Glovo’s reliable and scalable Data & ML Platforms. Joining us your work will have an immediate influence on how our Developers and Data Scientists use the platform as they develop new Data Products and Data-Science Models.

Be a part of a team where you will:

  • Develop software using modern engineering approaches and agile principles.

You have:

  • Self-management, communication, autonomy, consciousness, adaptability, proactivity
  • Developing and running applications in large production systems.
  • Setting up the network topology, permissions, governance and security policies of large enterprise systems.
  • Instrumenting services and monitoring key operational metrics
  • Working with Docker, Kubernetes and other cloud-native technologies.
  • Using different AWS services (EKS, RDS, Kinesis, EMR …).
  • Defining infrastructure and processes as code through Terraform and GitOps.
  • Writing reliable libraries and scripts in languages like Python or Go.
  • Troubleshooting problems with scheduling, networking, I/O, etc. by drilling down into the technical details of the solutions we work with.

Nice-to-haves:

  • Experience in managing distributed services/microservices platforms
  • Experience with Kubernetes or other container orchestration systems
