YOUR WORK-LIFE OPPORTUNITY:
We’re looking for someone to join our Finance team, you’ll be working with and alongside talented and passionate people around the world. We are looking for a highly accountable, flexible individual, who is technically excellent, works hard, can nurture productive working relationships, and operate with a considerable degree of autonomy.
BE A PART OF A TEAM WHERE YOU WILL:
Perform a variety of accounting activities including but not limited to:
- Monitor and suggest areas for improvement of Glovo retail business
- Control and monitor Retail business processes
- Monitoring and reporting retail KPI
- Inventory management process and controls
- Participation in establishing new processes and streamlining existing processes
- Stock management
- Spot errors and suggest ways to improve efficiency
- Analyze monthly profit and loss, and balance sheet reports
- Reconciliation between Trial Balance and Management Reporting
- Assisting the Finance Manager and HQ with developing and documentation of business processes and policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
- Ensure compliance with local GAAP principles
- Maintain and develop relationship with internal and external parties of the Company
YOU HAVE:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance (ACCA/CPA Certification would be considered an advantage)
- 2+ years accounting experience in a similar position
- Experience of working in the Retail sector and/or in Accounting Consultancy Services (Big Four)
- Thorough knowledge of the International Accounting Standards (IAS) an local GAAP
- Advanced MS Excel Skills & Google Workspace
- Knowledge of the English and local language (advanced)
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Time management and prioritization skills
- High levels of professionalism, initiative, energy, creativity and flexibility
- An empathetic, inclusive and curious attitude
