Your work-life opportunity:
Dispatching cluster takes care of the logistics platform responsible for the intelligent dispatch of millions of orders across the globe, a backbone of Glovo where availability and accuracy are critical for an efficient and balanced marketplace. We are looking for folks to join us to shape the long term technical roadmap of the dispatch teams and help us scale our technology and people around it
Be a part of a team where you will:

Help design and implement systems and tools which will enable global scalability of Glovo’s logistics platform and systems

Identify scalability and delivery issues before they become a problem and help devise and implement solutions within the dispatching cluster

Work closely with the teams to ensure design and delivery of complex projects while providing mentorship and leadership

Develop tooling and infrastructure for your domain/platform as well as engineering wide solutions to improve efficiency

Represent Glovo in the engineering community as an ambassador

Be an engineering leader, helping raise the engineering bar for your platform and growing the engineering team
You have:
-
A degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering or relevant experience
-
At least 10 years of experience in a software engineering role

Demonstrated experience in enabling global scalability or innovation within a platform that has helped drive efficiency, scalability or delivery of a significantly complex software system that spans multiple domains/platforms
-
Deep knowledge and experience in a given domain/platform (Backend, Mobile, Frontend, Infrastructure, and Automation)
-
Ability to design elegant solutions to technically challenging problems

Great communication, presentation, and leadership skills
