Greenhouse is looking for an IT Engineer to join our team in Denver!

Reporting to our Engineering department, this technician will join our IT team to provide thoughtful and individualized support for all Greenies. Working in a fast-paced environment, our IT Engineer will have the opportunity to work autonomously, run technical procurement, implement creative tools and work on projects that will drive scalable changes across our growing organization. Our IT Engineers play a pivotal role in shaping the experience of our employees and enabling our success as a distributed company.

What you’ll do

  • Provide technical assistance and support to incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware via Slack, email, ticket, or in-person for Greenhouse employees, contingent workers, and vendors
  • Support and maintain critical SaaS tools (Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, JIRA, Confluence, etc.) and troubleshoot Greenhouse-provided hardware (macOS, Chrome OS, and peripherals), maintaining detailed user and admin IT documentation
  • Walk through problem-solving processes with Greenhouse employees, conducting follow up to ensure issues have been resolved
  • Collaborate to provision Greenhouse laptops for new hire onboarding and train new hires alongside our IT and Onboarding teams

You should have

  • Experience in IT desktop support at a rapidly growing company with at least 500 - 1000 employees
  • Deep knowledge of Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, JIRA, Confluence, or similar cloud providers
  • Prior demonstrated success supporting Apple systems and software
  • Previous experience with script execution and troubleshooting (ex. Ruby, Bash, Python)
  • Working knowledge of imaging/endpoint management tools (ex. DEP, JSS)
  • A passion for providing empathetic customer service with excellent communication

The ranges added below are for Colorado-based hires only and will be commensurate with candidate experience. Pay ranges for candidates in other locations other than CO may differ based on the cost of labor in that location. Pay range: $63,000.00 - $81,000.00
