Greenhouse is looking for a Senior Product Designer, Design Systems to join our team!

Reporting into our Manager of Product Design, you will lead the design and development of Greenhouse’s Design System, Seedling understanding the current system in place while identifying opportunity areas! You will work closely with the designers to understand their use cases and create reusable components and patterns that support the growth of the system. You will drive the definition of guidelines, documentation and prioritization of the roadmap.

What you’ll do

  • Lead the research, design, and iteration of components and design patterns for our design system, seedling and uphold standards of quality
  • Collaborate with cross functional partners including design, engineering and data science to identify and prioritize system opportunities
  • Build a process for a shared source of truth between designers and engineers around documentation and usage guidelines
  • Evaluate and test that our design system meets accessibility requirements
  • Apply a systematic approach to scaling the library so each pattern and component is reusable for different use cases

 

You should have

  • Experience in UX, UI or interaction design, including a portfolio demonstrating building and evolving an effective design system
  • Experience working within an enterprise-level design system
  • A proven understanding of accessibility standards and building accessible components
  • Expert Figma skills
  • Excellent organizational skills; you're very detail oriented
  • A strong online portfolio that demonstrates skills in interaction design, design systems and product design work
  • Experience navigating technical constraints and considerations with an engineer team

The ranges provided below are for Colorado-based hires only and will be commensurate with candidate experience. Pay ranges for candidates in other locations other than CO may differ based on the cost of labor in that location. Pay range: $123,000 - $167,000.
