About the Team 


As a software developer in the Platform Engineering team, you will solve new problems that have not been solved before at an incredible scale. You will architect, design, and build solutions to problems that are unique to Hotstar infrastructures such as load balancer scalability, scale prediction, and multi-cluster and multi-cloud high availability. We are at the cusp of a new wave of solution-building that solves unique problems and you are invited!

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Build scalable and resilient cloud-native systems that are highly available and scalable.
  • Be the ambassador of development best practices across Hotstar with a focus on idiomatic coding and design patterns
  • Extend Kubernetes through operators, controllers, and validation hooks.
  • Build tools and frameworks to solve platform-level problems such as high availability and multi-region clusters
  • Design and build solutions to standardize various non-API workloads in Hotstar using cloud-native tools.

    • What to Bring

  •  More than 3 years of software development experience as part of a team that has worked through all phases of SDLC.2. 
  • Strong and in-depth expertise in Golang building large-scale microservices applications. 
  • Architectural awareness with distributed systems concepts and event-driven architectures. 
  • Experience in Agile practices, Continuous Delivery, Trunk Based Development, Xtreme programming practices like TDD, Pair Programming, and Domain-Driven Design
  • Architectural awareness of cloud-native systems such as Kubernetes, Prometheus, etc
  • Experience in working with RDBMS, NoSQL, and Graph databases
