The Role

We are looking for an experienced and energetic Human Resources Business Partner (called Manager, Talent & Culture internally) to support the expansion and growth within our markets.  As a member of the Talent and Culture Team, you will be an ambassador of the Iora culture as you partner with market leadership to develop, implement and execute people solutions that are aligned with our strategic business objectives and support people development in a high growth environment.

You will combine your years of human capital experience with a deep understanding of Iora’s culture and business model to provide guidance and hands-on support to the market in all aspects of talent and culture including talent and performance management, employee relations and strategic workforce planning (among others).

This position will report to the Senior Director of Talent & Culture who is based in Boston, MA.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Serve as trusted advisor to market leadership teams on key talent issues and strategies including talent management and organizational effectiveness.
  • Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to managers (coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions), with a specific emphasis around managing in a rapidly growing and changing environment.
  • Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations.
  • Maintaining in depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partner with legal department as needed/required. ·
  • Partner with other Human Resources team members to analyze key talent trends and metrics and develop appropriate solutions, programs and policies.
  • Provide guidance and hands-on support around role definition and restructuring, as well as workforce and succession planning initiatives.
  • Evaluate and support cross-market transfers, promotions and related talent matters.
  • Work closely with leadership and employees to strengthen communication and community, build morale, and increase effectiveness and retention.
  • Lead the Annual Performance and Compensation Review process for your designated business groups.
  • Lead Engagement Survey deployment, read out and planning for your designated business groups.
  • Proactively analyze and report on employee data (attrition, DEI etc) your designated business groups.
  • Foster a positive, diverse and inclusive culture through education, communication, and creative initiatives.

Desired qualifications include:

    • 5 years of progressive HR or Generalist experience, preferably in high-growth environment
    • Significant experience providing day-to-day performance management guidance to business unit leadership (coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).
    • A background in HR Operations is a plus and encouraged!
    • Excellent project management skills.
    • Experience with data analysis in excel.
    • Demonstrated experience in fostering a collaborative working environment between individuals and teams through coaching & personal example
    • Experience providing day-to-day performance management guidance to business unit management (coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).
    • Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines including talent and performance management, organizational development, employee relations, federal and state employment laws.
    • Action orientation and comfort with very fast pace and rapid change.
    • Flexibility to interact with employees at all levels.
    • Self-directed, motivated and collaborative.
    • Ability to travel up to 10-20% of the time to other markets.
