Position Overview:

  • The Junior RF Design Engineer will be responsible for creating and dimensioning cellular coverage/capacity solutions using different simulation tools. The person in this role will be able to interact and collaborate within the team and with colleagues across the world to deliver the best solution to the customers
  • The Junior RF Design Engineer will be able also to produce all the documentation required to support the approval of the design including: the list of active and passive materials (BOM), the network and the equipment schematics. Moreover, the candidate will be able to produce all the documentation to get the project approved by the customer (closeout package)
  • The person in this role will be able to support the sales team in pre-sale technical activities collaborate with the product line management and the business development teams to provide competitive solutions to JMA customers
  • We are looking for a person open to the latest trends in telecommunications and technology industries (4G, 5G, mmWave, vRAN, O-RAN)  

    • Minimum Requirements:

  • Master Degree in Telecommunication or Electronic Engineering
  • A fundamental understanding of the main cellular technology standards: 5G, 4G, and legacy standards
  • Proactive and result-oriented attitude
  • Ability to work in an international environment
  • Languages: Italian (Full Professional Proficiency), English (Working Proficiency)
  • Good knowledge of MS Office Suite

  • iBwave Design Enterprise software
  • MS Visio

    • Position Location & Travel

  • This position is based in Bologna, Italy
  • Occasional domestic or international travel may be required
