About the role

This is a fully remote role for an attorney licensed to practice in the United States

Responsibilities

  • Assist with corporate acquisitions, including working closely with Corporate Development, Legal, Compliance, Tax and other functional groups in all stages of acquisitions, including structuring transactions, drafting term sheets and other preliminary documentation, managing deal processes, performing due diligence, assisting on regulatory filings, closing deals and managing post-closing integration and disputes
  • Responsible primarily for the management of the acquisition process including coordination between business and specialist team leads and acquisition team and outside counsel
  • Requirements

  • 3+ years of relevant experience at a top law firm  
  • Preference for experience working on in-house mergers and acquisitions for an active acquirer
  • Excellent project management, negotiation, drafting, and time management skills
  • Proven ability to juggle many projects at once
  • Understanding of the M&A regulatory landscape and ramifications
  • Willingness to roll up sleeves (no job too big, no job too small)
  • Ability to effect practical business goals through creative problem solving 
  • Experience communicating and collaborating with cross-functional teams
  • Must be active and in good standing in one State Bar in the United States
  • Nice to Haves

  • Passion for / demonstrated interest in the crypto industry
