This is a fully remote role requiring English fluency. You must be willing to work evenings and weekends.


About the Role
The Client Onboarding team is the first point of contact for new clients. This team is focused on serving individual and retail clients. Our mission is to provide outstanding support that fosters lasting relationships with them, and thus paves the way to greater crypto adoption.

As a Client Onboarding Operations KYC Analyst, you will play a critical role in achieving company wide goals. You will be responsible for directly supporting the Client Onboarding group and agents. You will help define policies, procedures and communicate with internal stakeholders on changes and updates. Thinking holistically about the company’s success, you will leverage your understanding of the resources within the team to achieve service quality goals and business objectives in a timely and efficient manner, while always identifying areas for improvement along the way. 

A successful Client Onboarding Operations KYC Analyst will always be seeking to thoroughly inform and positively influence the organization with their actions, diligently advocating for clients. By combining strong industry knowledge, combined with KYC and regulatory awareness, you will play a strong role in our success and ability to deliver world class support.

Responsibilities

  • Work on behalf of the Client Onboarding team as the main POC with the Compliance Teams (EDD, Sanctions, CDD, etc.)
  • Work with the Product, Compliance and Regional Operation teams to be aware of, and plan for new geographical requirements being introduced 
  • Maintain knowledge of regulatory and industry updates around the world
  • Research various regulations in the BSA, FFIEC, FRSA, SEC, FinCen, etc. to ensure the least amount of impact on the client experience 
  • Lead, organise and execute on projects
  • Create, define and maintain policies in accordance with KYC and Compliance requirements in a fast paced, dynamic and evolving ecosystem
  • Discuss changes, prepare proposals, and have a full understanding of the impact on the client experience before moving into the implementation phase
  • Screen and escalate queries from the Client Onboarding team which would require Compliance to review
  • Generate regular reports (weekly/bi-weekly/monthly) for Onboarding leadership
  • Flag issues and coordinate response efforts if a service issue is detected
  • Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of the cryptocurrency industry and a passion for crypto
  • 2+ years of experience in KYC/Compliance related workgroups/roles
  • Data driven; must be able to collect, interpret, analyze and create meaningful action items out of data from various sources
  • Self-motivated and passionate about improving the client experience and helping our company fulfil its larger mission 
  • Experience organizing work groups, managing projects, and monitoring progress
  • Strong communication and leaderships skills, and the ability to resolve workplace issues effectively
  • Service-oriented, resourceful and forward-thinking
  • People-centred, supportive and flexible in order to get the most out of the team
  • Innovator; never satisfied with the status quo when it means a poor client experience or unnecessary work
  • Able to manage several projects and initiatives simultaneously
  • Able to quickly respond to needs and concerns of your team and leadership in a timely and understanding manner
  • Nice to have - CAMS certification 
  • Preferred time zones are EU/NA, but this is not a requirement for this role
