About the Role 

Kraken is growing and we’re looking for a Marketing Operations Coordinator to support our Content team within the Marketing org. 

In this remote North American based role, you’ll kick off each day meeting with both teams, giving updates on where we are with certain projects, pieces and priorities. Next up, is taking a look at the project management app and helping assign tasks to the appropriate party as well as moving tasks through workflows. You’ll be the go to when it comes to training new Content team members on our processes, systems and workflows.

In addition to using your exceptional organization, communication and follow up skills for project management, you’ll also use these skills to lean in on budget creation and tracking expenses and invoicing, in addition to reviewing and coordinating contracts and NDAs. 

You are process oriented, technically adept, and are always crossing your “t’s” and dotting your “i’s.” Finally, be ready to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, process-driven environment but know that sometimes we have to adapt and adjust plans on-the-fly.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Manage/maintain editorial calendars, processes, workstreams and projects for the Content teams
  • Develop and implement workflow processes designed to increase team efficiency 
  • Work closely with our legal team to oversee and execute external NDAs and contracts needed with external parties
  • Assist in annual budget planning as well as manage and track expenses ensuring invoices are paid
  • Plan team off-sites and various events on occasion
  • Special projects and duties as assigned
  • Who You Are

  • You have 3-5 yrs experience in project management, ideally within a marketing team
  • You’re no newbie when it comes to working with content and editorial calendars
