About the role:

Our People team is called the Krakenite Experience (KX) team, and we aim to become a world leader in People Experience. We are now hiring a Director of Well-Being and Life Stages to join our diverse and forward-thinking company. This role will add value to Kraken by designing and implementing a world-class Wellness program, inclusive of mental, physical, financial and life-stage benefits that will improve the productivity, and overall well-being of our remote and globally distributed workforce.

Responsibilities:

Incorporates Kraken’s vision, mission and values within our Wellness programs

Formulates objectives, goals and strategies collaboratively with executive sponsors and other stakeholders

Develops and manages operational initiatives with measurable outcomes, i.e. monitoring a set of KPIs and produce regular reporting on the performance of such initiatives

Continually assess all programs, identifies problems / challenges, utilizes data to analyze and propose innovative approaches for solutions

Remain current on new trends and best practices for remote and digital Wellness to incorporate into Wellness programs

Integrate and maintain a collection of third-party Wellness services and manage the relationship with those vendors

Requirements:

5+ years of direct experience running a Wellness program in a large distributed, high-growth organization

8+ years of project management or program management experience

Experience handling the privacy/legal aspects of a Wellness program, i.e., HIPAA / GDPR

Ability to align roadmaps and manage disparate tasks with varying priorities

Experience managing multiple executive sponsors, stakeholders and dependencies

Strong knowledge and experience with the 3rd-party vendor offerings for Wellness

Flexibility with working hours in order to support and manage a globally distributed team

Results-oriented person with a proven track record of on-time, high quality project/program delivery

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to present clearly and concisely to all levels within the company

Lifelong learner with an evidence-based approach to Wellness concepts and demonstrated skills in the application of Wellness, behavior change and organizational change theories

Tech-savvy with an appreciation for privacy, security, “crypto values” and the ability to get along well with other Krakenites
