As our Director of People Analytics, you will lead our people analytics team to deliver critical insights to enable better decision making about Kraken’s most important asset - our people. You will build our team and champion our people analytics efforts, partnering with other people and business leaders to continuously build our award-winning culture like a product. We’re seeking a senior leader to build, lead, and execute on Kraken’s end-to-end people analytics roadmap, overseeing our product, research and insights teams. In this role, you will oversee a strong team and be responsible for driving impact by generating, sharing, and scaling people analytics insights for the broader Kraken organization.
Responsibilities
Partner on our people analytics vision and strategy, and provide thought leadership on how data can be used to optimize the full people life cycle (owning post-hire analytics, as well as providing advice and mentorship to our talent acquisition ops team)Plan and execute on our roadmap, prioritizing deliverables in response to our business needs over the near term while simultaneously building the foundation for more advanced analytics and research capabilities over the long-termTranslate analytic insights into actionable recommendations for Kraken’s People program leaders and broader leadership teamAssess which software, tools and vendor partnerships we should invest in to support our people analytics efforts and best facilitate access to data for decision makersCollaborate with our people systems team and other technology leaders to develop a robust data warehouse from which we can extract insightsServe as a center of excellence for qualitative and quantitative employee research, supporting our people-centered approach to program design (e.g., training/development, rewards, diversity, belonging & inclusion, talent, etc.)Lead & grow a talented team of people analytics professionalsEstablish governance practices to ensure we are both legally compliant and ethically sound in how we manage people data, partnering closely with our legal, privacy and security teamsRequirements
10+ years of combined experience in HR, People Analytics, Data Science, Business Intelligence or other related disciplinesExcellent analytical skills with experience turning data into actionable insightsKnowledge of SQL and Python or R; experience with Google BigQuery, Data Studio, Tableau, Visier or Looker a plusWell versed in workforce data analysis and HR metrics, including emerging market trendsProficiency using common tools and languages for conducting research and developing predictive models using statistical analysis, querying large relational databases, and manipulating / integrating data from various sources (e.g., R, SAS, SPSS, SQL, Python)Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to a wide audience and influence change by translating insights into actionExperience collaborating across multiple stakeholder groups, communicating with diverse audiences, and balancing/negotiating prioritiesScrappy, practical and resourceful; able to scale up and down and creatively build leverageArtful storytelling - go beyond the data to deliver insightsStrong project management capabilities, managing multiple project streams and prioritiesLocation Tagging: #US
