The Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team works cross-functionally across the company, focusing on headcount planning, budgeting, forecasting, OpEx reporting, variance analysis, and management reporting.  The FP&A team provides timely financial information to the Leadership and each functional team to manage their budget and make strategic decisions. As the FP&A Manager, you will report to the Director of FP&A and partner cross-functionally with the Strategic Finance, Accounting, Tax, Treasury, and functional teams across the entire company. You will have the opportunity to help the FP&A function scale its systems and processes as the business experiences rapid growth. This is a collaborative, cross-functional role that provides visibility to key initiatives and priorities across the company, allowing for exposure to senior leadership.  You will create and execute company strategies (around marketing, product, design etc), provide critical financial insights to leadership and be involved with M&A/fundraising initiatives.

You are an ambitious individual who is excited by the challenge of solving tough, often ambiguous problems in this dynamic space. You are able to make well-informed recommendations based on data and analysis. You can communicate your findings and recommendations verbally and in concise and actionable reports. Intellectual curiosity and a desire to learn everything about cryptocurrency are a requirement for this role.

This role is permanent remote and can be based anywhere in North America.

What you'll be doing:

  • Lead budgeting, OpEx forecasting, reporting and analysis for all functional areas of the business on a monthly, quarterly and annual cadence
  • Direct the dissemination of monthly management financial insights and present to the business and finance leadership
  • Lead monthly meetings with budget owners to review monthly spend and variance analysis
  • Assist in building out and reporting COGS and Transaction Expenses categories.
  • Own capacity/headcount across all departments – including active roster, open roles and compensation levers – and link to budgeting and financial forecasts
  • Partner with the Recruiting team to track intake and quantify cost impact
  • Identify, develop, and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics for FP&A
  • Enhance the understanding at the corporate finance level of critical business performance drivers and maintain a good view of business strengths and weaknesses
  • Provide analytical thought leadership and lead projects that will deliver key insights for making critical business decisions, in collaboration with Strategic Finance team
  • Automate all report generating processes and refine planning files to be adaptive and dynamic, with the ability to report at both a granular and summary level as needed
  • Help develop a 3-5 year forecasting model linked to the strategic planIntegrate and/or redesign current processes to work with the newly implemented FP&A system (Oracle PBCS/NSPB)
  • Assist in ad hoc projects, including presentations and other updates to senior executives, the board, and investors
  • Who you are:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or other business-related focus
  • 7+ years of experience, preferably in a high growth SaaS based, ConsumerTech or Fintech environment
  • Ideal candidate would have strong financial/strategic analysis skill sets with a background in Corporate Finance, Investment Banking, Management Consulting, or Capital Markets
  • Leadership and/or project management experience with ability to dissect critical business problems and create innovative solutions that are sustainable and repeatable
  • Attention to detail and first run accuracy is required
  • Self starter with a strong desire to make a positive impact on the organization
  • Strong critical thinking and analytical skills, coupled with a problem solving and investigative mindset
  • Advanced modeling capability in Excel/Gsheets (VBA, macros) and a keen attention to detail
  • Strong written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to digest inputs and turn them into actionable insights, including presenting to the management
  • Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders including department heads, Treasury, the company Controller, and the CFO
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to prioritize competing deliverables and deadlines
  • Experience using an ERP system(s) such as Netsuite
  • Experience using EPM/planning tool(s) such as Hyperion Essbase, Oracle Cloud, Adaptive Insights, Host Analytics/Planful or Anaplan



  • It's a plus if you have:

  • Understanding of GAAP accounting concepts and principles
  • Understanding and familiarity with Cryptocurrency, DeFi, Staking and NFTs is a plus
  • Comprehension and experience with BI and data visualization tools (Tableau, MicroStrategy, Power BI, SQL server reporting services etc.) is a plus
