About the Role

Our People team is called the Krakenite Experience (KX) team, and we aim to become a world leader in People Experience. Working with the world's top talent, our diverse and forward‐thinking team is spread across 60+ countries. 

In this role you will support our global People Operations team by being the Human Resources Operation Program Manager liasing with the WorkDay HRIS team. We are in the early stages of building out our KX Team and are looking for a candidate who can work collaboratively across the KX Team to find and resolve issues.  The ideal candidate for this role will be an experienced HR professional who is flexible, enthusiastic, detail oriented, and willing to do the work necessary to tackle the challenges facing our global HR operations team! 

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and collaborate on various HR projects mainly focusing on improving People Systems operations (i.e. Workday) 
  • Take ownership of optimizing individual business processes while maintaining a holistic view of how each process impacts another across a variety of People Operations system modules 
  • Develop and drive the People Operations systems roadmap in collaboration with the technical HRIS team and HR Operations stakeholders
  • Track project plans to ensure progress towards goals and targets.
  • Manage expectations and maintain relationships with cross-project stakeholders to build rapport and credibility, plan, create, deliver content, and to provide and receive input to help achieve project goals
  • Act as a consultant and thought leader,  providing guidance to other cross-functional teams to ensure alignment 
  • Design process and program improvements which improve efficiency, effectiveness, or satisfaction
  • Handle a mix of both programmatic responsibilities but also handle more tactical or operational tasks
  • Dig into business processes, determine pain points with cross-functional stakeholders, and uncover requirements to escalate to the technical HRIS team
  • Assist with testing new Workday business processes, system modifications, and updates
  • Create and maintain detailed testing documentation, training materials, and other procedural documentation in collaboration with the technical HRIS team 
  • Monitor and track progress on Workday support and user access requests, as well as maintaining an up-to-date user access matrix and assist in user access audits
  • Maintain an overview of mid to long term HR projects and initiatives and provide support in a Project Management capacity as requested by senior HR leadership 
  • Requirements:

  • 5+ years experience in program and change management with at least 2 years experience in Human Resources
  • Extensive Workday experience across a variety of modules (HCM, Advanced Comp, Learning ATS, etc.)
  • Experience working in a remote, globally distributed team in a fast-paced high-growth environment strongly preferred
  • Experience at a technology company or highly successful start-up strongly preferred
  • Experience navigating complex operational hurdles in hyper-growth companies
  • Proactive problem solver and disciplined self-starter that thrives in an ambiguous environment with ever-changing priorities 
  • Appreciates privacy, security, “crypto values”, sound money, and can get along well with other Krakenites 
  • Passion for cryptocurrency adoption and personal experience with crypto strongly preferred
