The IT Operations team architects, implements, and supports technology solutions for our infrastructure and enterprise applications for our internal users.
Responsibilities
Partner with key business functions to determine business requirements to inform IT service and Security/Compliance needsEngage in selection, development, customization, and deployment of critical applications, including CRM, HRIS, Finance/Accounting, Collaboration, Productivity Management, and SaaS, etc.Oversee the design, implementation, “improvement”, and maintenance of cloud-based servicesContribute to the development of best practices within our IT & Security teamContinually improve and optimize company efficiency through process improvement and automationEnsure systems and organization operate with the absolute highest level of securityExperience participating in, and opinions on the best practices for 24/7 monitoring and on call rotations Requirements
3 or more years in an IT role focused on deployment of cloud based applicationsMinimum of 3 years experience DevOps/systems administrator or equivalent distributed systems developmentFamiliarity with AWS technologies and services (CLI, Aurora, S3, IAM, EC2, ECS, ECR, KMS, CloudWatch, Lambda, Route53, SQS, SNS, CodeDeploy)Linux administration, thorough knowledge of operating systems, networking fundamentals and protocolsAn understanding and ability to write code or develop in one or more development/scripting languages such as: Python, Ruby, or Go, Bash, Terraform, AnsibleAn understanding of DevOps practices, such as: CI/CD, deployment tooling, testing, monitoring and alerting, containerization Thorough experience in web operations: configuration/maintenance of web servers, load balancers, relational databases, storage systems, messaging systems, virtualizationExperience with security best practices, including knowledge of leading security applications and operationsWorking knowledge of project and work stream management toolsStrong understanding of networking, identity management, monitoring, logging, vulnerability managementExcellent communication skills, both written and verbalAbility to thrive in a high-growth, fast-paced, and dynamic environmentLocation Tagging: #EU #US #CANADA #LI-Remote #LT1
