About the Role

Our People team is called the Krakenite Experience (KX) team, and we aim to become a world leader in People Experience. We are now hiring an international Benefits Analyst to join our diverse and forward‐thinking global company.  This skilled and experienced Benefits professional will add value to Kraken by ensuring that our programs align with our Total Rewards philosophy, are market competitive, and ensure that the Krakenite Experience is world class from their first days as a Krakenite all the way through their entire Kraken lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Be the first point of contact for employees on all things benefits related in APAC
  • Support the day-to-day benefits operations and programs (e.g., medical, dental, life insurance plans, disability programs, retirement and leaves of absence) providing customer service to employees
  • Work with vendors to set up and maintain up to date benefit information including contact details, processes for new Krakenites, ensuring most updated versions are availableIdentify and execute on process improvements for benefits workflows
  • Communicate benefits programs to employees using presentations, written materials, and emails. This includes new hire orientation.
  • Support annual benefits annual renewal process, to include employee communications, prepare benefit plan materials, coordinate timelines and address employee questions
  • Stay current on legal and regulatory trends and requirements in benefits and provide recommendations for all legislation changes 
  • Partner with the benefits team on global benefit projects, such as launching wellness programs and country expansionConsulting with third party provider making sure all info and payroll data is accurate & compliance
  • Using excel to collate payroll data to send on to payroll provider
  • Partner with finance teams to prepare and process benefits billing to ensure accurate recording and timely payments

  • Leave of Absence
  • Assist in administration of our LOA program, including tracking and employee communications
  • Update HRIS (Workday) with LOA status and other information, as needed
  • Administer all New Parents benefits, including pre-leave check-in meeting
  • Partner with KX and Payroll team to ensure Associates on LOA are compensated correctly
  • Qualifications

  • 3 -5 years of hands on experience in benefits analysis, both domestically and internationally
  • Proficiency with HRIS (Workday) , Microsoft Office, and Google Suite
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skillsExperience in both a start-up and a large global company, ideally in Tech, Finance
  • Must be a proactive solution oriented team player with a proven ability to collaborate with all levels of stakeholders
  • Excellent interpersonal and problem solving skillsExperience working remotely a plus
  • A passion for and knowledge of cryptocurrency is a plus
