About the Role

The successful individual will be responsible for bringing the firm's indices “To life” by authoring investment research content that describes the markets that the firm's indices track through the lens of its index products. The right candidate will have a strong working knowledge of portfolio and financial theory and the cryptocurrency universe. The successful candidate will work closely with the Product, Sales and Marketing functions to distribute the content created with  maximum effect and target key client and influencer segments through paid for, earnt and social media. This role would allow the successful candidate to play a major part in an integral component of the wider cryptocurrency ecosystem and its development as an asset class.

What you'll do:

  • Assume lead responsibility of researching, writing, publishing, and presenting research on Digital Asset financial products within the wider asset management ecosystem.  
  • Generate index data led content to position the firm as a go to provider including through innovative ways of bringing the firm's indices to life. 
  • Work with group marketing to establish a framework for generating engagement with the firm’s products through in-depth analysis
  • Support the firm's commercial and go to market strategies by working closely with sales and produict functions, especially around new product launches
  • Work closely with the engineering and development team to automate quantitative content generation 

    • What you'll need:

  • A quantitative degree
  • Strong understanding of financial and portfolio theory
  • Strong understanding of economics and statistics within the asset management context.
  • Demonstrable track record of creating influential financial content that leverages data
  • 5 plus years’ experience gained in index provisions, investment research or investment management industries
  • Experience in a dynamic, fast paced, fintech environment a plus
  • Strong understanding of blockchain technology and cryptocurrency markets and their structure
