About the role

At Kraken we are building out our world class learning experience for our Krakenites (employees  of Kraken) company-wide. Our learning team requires creative people who aren’t afraid to cast aside established ways of doing things to create entirely new, delightful experiences for our internal learning community. Throughout the history of civilization, there have been a handful of moments that changed the course of how we think about wealth and equality. The discovery of gold, the creation of paper money, mortgages, ATMs. We’re at the next of those moments right now, and there is no more exciting place to invest your creativity than directly at this intersection of technology and adventure. 

We are looking for a motivated, detail-oriented team player with a passion for structure and communication that enables our learning team to deliver meaningful curriculum, who will be supporting one of our organizations. 

We’re looking for a well-rounded program manager to be a learning partner to their org and create strategic and innovative approaches to identify the learning needs / skills gaps. Work with internal teams to develop world class learning experiences and performance support tools for Krakenites. The LPPGM will work closely with their org, from ideation to implementation, Identifying;  pain points, business needs, awareness levels, and success metrics. 

LPPGM will work in partnership with their stakeholders and the greater L&D team– communicating progress, call outs, and outlining success goals and metrics. You will be responsible for leading all org-related learning projects/programs and maintaining a fluid communication flow with all interested parties.

What you'll do

  • Owns L&D relationships with stakeholders within assigned org and closely collaborates and communicates with team leads
  • Continually identify learning opportunities / skill gaps within assigned org to improve operational excellence
  • Reviews incoming requests from assigned org and identifies if training/learning will solve the specific business problem/need
  • Helps stakeholders define business problem, goals, scope, and evaluation/success metrics of learning initiatives
  • Leads project charter creation to define defining goals, success measurement
  • Leads stakeholder meetings and touch points
  • Attends team project team meetings and touch points, when needed
  • Measures project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques to evaluate the effectiveness of the overall program 
  • Collect and communicate program success and CSATs to L&D leadership
  • Lead Fu Pan sessions with L&D project team after completion, if needed
  • Create, organize, and maintain comprehensive documentation, project outcome reporting, and learning assets
  • Support assigned org leadership to ensure that we create best-in-class learning curricula
  • What we look for

  • An expert at learning program management and supporting creative teams delivering multifaceted learning projects ideally working in successful startups, and/or well known global brands. 
  • The desire to work collaboratively and play an active role in creative projects
  • Experience in learning needs analysis and developing programs from conception to briefing all the way through to delivery 
  • A strong strategic understanding of learning asset creation and experience scoping learning projects/programs of various size
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills with the ability to share learning rationale and creative intent 
  • A confident, thoughtful and enthusiastic team player
  • Working knowledge of project management tools such as kanban boards and project tickets
  • Nice to have

  • PgMP certification
  • Working knowledge or direct experience with cryptocurrencies 
  • Experience working in learning 
  • Remote working experience
