About the role:

We’re looking for motivated, detail-oriented team players with a passion for structure and communication that enables our learning team to deliver meaningful curriculum to our company and continuing fantastic results for our rapidly expanding business.

Manager of learning design will lead a team of Instructional designers and multimedia creative, reporting directly to the director of learning this individual will be responsible for all design and learning development for virtual classroom, e-learning, web based curriculum, LMS curation, slides, and knowledge base update and maintenance. This individual must have experience leading development and design teams, and a passion for fast paced delivery expectations with a high degree of organization and quality. 

What you'll do:

  • Utilize instructional design, adult learning principles and innovative methods in the conception, design and development of learning assets
  • Review learning solutions against outlined learning objectives, firm brand standards and CPE requirements to translate business content into learner-centered experiences
  • Consult and collaborate with subject matter professionals on course design and development Lead large scale projects and influence leadership and stakeholders
  • Coach instructional designers, providing in-the-moment feedback and coaching to help achieve their performance and professional goals
  • Demonstrated supervisory responsibilities, requires ability to lead and inspire project team members to produce successful results
  • Connect counselees to the people, resources and opportunities to help further their professional development goals; help cultivate a collaborative working environment, bringing team members and their ideas together
  • Who you are:

  • Minimum five years of recent experience in instructional design and learning asset materials development
  • Leadership experience in Instructional Design, Educational Technology or related discipline preferred
  • People management and team building skills, including the ability to develop and coach staff level professionals, ability to provide actionable and compassionate feedback and coaching
  • Strategic thinking skills with the ability to ask the needed big-picture questions that lead to process and team improvements; experience with consultation and the assessment of learning needs, proposing, designing, developing, delivering and measuring success of learning solutions 
  • Strong organizational, communications, relationship and project management skills, with the ability to meet tight deadlines, manage heavy workloads and prioritize tasks; ability to work with cross functional teams and leaders at all levels
  • Ability to thrive and adapt in a fast-paced and evolving virtual environment
