About the Role

The Product Planning & Operations Manager partners with senior leadership and broader team to help run important functions that cross-cut our organizations and deliver high impact projects. In this role, you will design and deliver on processes and initiatives ensuring effective organisational structure, smooth operations, reliable and timely reporting, data-driven decision making. Since Product Management is cross-functional in nature, Product Planning & Operations Manager should be a champ at understanding and analysing multi-disciplinary information to drive horizontal and vertical changes. 

The ideal candidate excels at operations (setting up org-wide processes and executing on them persistently within expected deadlines), analytics (going deep into large volumes of diverse datasets, synthesizing and presenting them), communications (preparing presentations and reports for senior management), as well as stakeholder management (aligning processes and interests of cross-functional teams).

Responsibilities

  • Create operational processes and practices that drive efficiencies for the Product organization and leadership team 
  • Gather and analyze large amounts of information and develop insightful strategic recommendations 
  • Work closely with the Data Science team for producing different reporting models and analytics
  • Set up and manage new systems and tools to gather, analyze, and provide insights from different data points - product / user / market research or organisation related 
  • Lead execution against recommendations and decisions quickly and with accuracy, while ensuring alignment between different functional areas 
  • Lead Product planning and reporting processes, working with partners across the organization to capture priorities from the entire business. 
  • Drive and operationalize Product reviews and other forums
  • Lead analytics and management of organizational staffing, hiring, and capacity planning 
  • Co-design, implement, and scale best practices, tools and templates to standardize the playbooks and processes needed to enable scale 
  • Provide project management for various initiatives  
  • Become a trustful and reliable partner to multidisciplinary stakeholders
  • Communicate status and manage stakeholder expectations 
  • Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in technical or analytical field, or equivalent practical experience
  • 4+ years experience working as a program manager, product manager, operations specialist, analyst or similar role in a forward-thinking, fast paced team environment
  • Experience driving strategic initiatives, while engaging and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and leaders
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills, experience working with a large volume of cross-disciplinary data
  • Proven ability to track and successfully complete complex programs/projects on time, while keeping all stakeholder groups informed and satisfied 
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels, including concise verbal and written executive-level communications
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a highly collaborative environment with heavy emphasis on partnership
  • Outstanding leadership and organizational skills, drive for executional excellence 
  • Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of SQL, Python, Tableau, and/or similar
  • Experience building productivity and automation tools  
  • Experience working with and coordinating operations of large cross-functional and interdisciplinary working groups 
  • You have diverse product interests and enjoy working on a variety of projects simultaneously, from initiation to completion with minimal supervision
  • You are an active listener and observer, constantly asking “why”, able to think outside the box to find interesting solutions for existing problems
  • Ability to simplify operational and informational complexity, delivering the right message to each stakeholder 
  • Ability to be an influential member of a highly integrated team composed of both technical and non-technical members 
  • Interest in Bitcoin, Cryptocurrency or Blockchain is highly preferred
