About the role

This is a fully remote role for an attorney licensed to practice in the United States

Responsibilities

Plan and implement company-wide regulatory strategy for rapidly evolving regulatory landscape in the crypto industry

Guide new product creation and regulatory acquisition strategy working with the product and strategy teams

Work with prominent financial services regulators on cutting-edge regulatory issues

Requirements

10+ years of relevant experience applying financial laws and regulations, whether at a top law firm, in house, or at a financial regulator

Mindset that is team-oriented, plus proactive and entrepreneurial: an opportunity-making person who uses the law to increase the company’s optionality, not decrease it

Active license to practice law in at least one US State

Nice-to-haves

Significant experience interpreting and applying US Securities laws

Strong demonstrated work experience with broker-dealer regulatory issues, filings, and strategic applications
