Work directly with traders (all ex-Wall Street professionals) growing the Trading Desk business by developing tools to facilitate institutional over the counter trading and algorithmic execution!

Responsibilities

Work closely with traders to implement tailored software solutions

Take on primary ownership of a medium-sized project, including future design and architecture decisions

Design and implementation of low-latency, high-availability, and performant applications

Write reusable, testable, and efficient code

Deploy and monitor continuously running applications

Pull and consolidate data from various third-party APIs and other sources

Requirements

3+ years of experience as a full stack or backend developer in the finance or trading industry

At least 3 years of experience in Go or Python

Knowledge of Python, Ruby, or a similar scripting language

Proficiency with SQL databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL

Experience with cloud-based platforms (AWS, Kubernetes) for deployment and orchestration

Nice to Have

Familiarity with Ruby on Rails or a similar web application framework

Familiarity with ReactJS or similar frontend framework

Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes

Familiarity with core AWS services (EC2, ELB, S3, RDS)

Experience with crypto/FX trading, derivatives and blockchains

Experience writing smart order routing (SOR) strategies
