As a Supply Operations Manager you'll...

  • Drive key supplier network business operations processes - volume allocation on all raw material with a focus on pricing and fostering long lasting relationships.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of supply delivery network performance and develop deep understanding of value drivers to identify improvement areas and opportunities
  • Build and manage financial/operational tools for the supply delivery network.
  • Vey and On-board new suppliers that would help secure Lob’s supply chain without incurring any higher cost to Lob.
  • Establish a sustainability and diversity standard for Lob’s Supplier Delivery Network.
  • Own and manage quality testing and assurance processes for the Supply Delivery Network to ensure that all Partners can run these sources for raw materials.
  • Being able to make decisions effectively with supplier selection(s) to ensure the highest of quality.
  • Communicate effectively across all levels (within the team, to cross-functional partners and leadership)
  • Develop a deep understanding of supplier, process, and technology to build a system that combines these elements in the optimal way to drive a constant supply chain for Lob and its customers.

For this role, we're looking for...

  • 3-5 years of professional experience with at least 2 years in a business operations, project management, implementations, or similar role
  • Supply chain, procurement, or sourcing experience is preferred
  • Strong analytical skills - ability to work with raw data, formulate hypotheses, test them and draw insights
  • Exceptional communication skills, confident speaking to internal and external individuals across all levels
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, a strong team-player
  • Ability to grasp new business concepts quickly and desire to develop industry expertise
  • SQL knowledge is a plus, but not required

We offer remote working opportunities, unless otherwise described in the job description, in AZ, CA, CO, DC, GA, HI, IL, MA, MD, MI, MN, NC, NV, NH, NY, OH, OR, PA, TX, UT, and WA. You can also work onsite at our San Francisco headquarters.
