What You'll Do:

This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to be a part of an organization with an outstanding product, operation and culture.  As an experienced Sales Specialist, you will work closely with functional leaders, organizational units, and subject matter experts, driving the Americas' observability business. This is an overlay position which will act as a strategic liaison between the sales, marketing and product teams to help maximize success.

Here's a closer look at this key role:

  • Act as an observability domain expert in specialist-selling activities
  • Evangelize the observability products and roadmap and discuss key and differentiating features and capabilities
  • Work with a cross-functional team (including product management, product marketing, and others) to shape the go-to-market motion for observability products including logs and APM
  • Support pipeline generation teams, ensuring their understanding of competitive positioning within multiple paths in different segments when prospecting
  • Partner with sales teams to develop account strategies that address customers' specific needs
  • Support Sales Engineering and Sales Specialist leadership 
  • Act as an extension of the Product Management team by delivering the solution roadmap, capturing client feedback, and identifying changes in the market and competitive landscape
  • Work with Product Marketing to create collateral and generate campaigns that drive demand
  • Act as an ambassador at major customer and industry events
What You'll Need:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Information Systems, or equivalent degree/experience preferred
  • 2+ years Solution selling or specialist-selling experience 
  • 5+ years leading Sales/Revenue Operations
  • Observability and monitoring domain expertise, with focus on APM, logs, and/or AIOps
  • Systems expertise with an emphasis on Salesforce, Data Structures and other Go-To-Market focused tools
